WHAT IS THE WEDDING DATE AND LOCATION?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Beach Garden on the Dreams Bahia Mita Resort on Sunday, November 24, 2024. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM followed by an hour long cocktail hour and then the reception to celebrate with dinner and dancing.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

The bride and groom request that you wear formal or cocktail attire. This typically includes men wearing a suit or dress shirt with sport coat and tie and women wearing a maxi-, midi-, or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please do not wear shorts, denim, beachwear, white, ivory, cream, champagne, etc.. Also keep in mind that the venue is on a grassy area and wooden deck, so shoes with a narrow heel may be difficult to walk in for the ceremony and reception.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED TO THE WEDDING?

While we love your little ones, due to limited seating capacity, we have decided to proceed with an adults-only celebration at this time. Kids are welcome to join you for vacation and for the Catamaran excursion on Friday if you would like, but all other wedding related events will be adults only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

CAN I GET MORE INFO ON THE PRIVATE BOATING EXCURSION?

We have booked an AMAZING boating adventure on the Fat Cat Catamaran that we would like to invite all of our guests to join us on! The cost will be covered so your trip is FREE, but we ask guests to tip $15-20 if they are willing and able to do so! We ask guests to dress in cocktail attire as we enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres on the sunset cruise up the coastline. Yes, we have registered at Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, and Amazon for those of you who choose to get us a wedding gift. These are linked on our website. Related stores such as West Elm, Pottery Barn, and CB2 are also listed underneath the 3 primary registries if you continue to scroll down. However, we appreciate the time, cost, and general effort it takes to attend a destination wedding and want to emphasize that your presence is an amazing gift to receive. So, please do not feel obligated to purchase a gift as we are elated to have you be a part of our special day!

WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESORT?

We encourage guests to download the Hyatt Inclusive Collection App to get information on the hotel, accommodations, restaurants, bars, shows, reservations, and a map of the resort (it is a very large resort and we have been told that this is the best resource for navigating it).
